I was hugely disappointed with the preaching of Buddy Wallace at Union Gospel Mission last night. For him to alleged that Obama fits the profile of the anti-Christ is absurd and hateful. Wallace is quite wrong to say that Obama's appearance on the political scene foreshadows the End Times.
Also, his sentiment that the United States has sold out and is now under the thumb of China shows that Mr. Wallace has no grasp of economics. As a huge US bondholder, China is dependent on our country's success in order to reep a profit from its holdings. Having such a huge aggregate deficit is a problem that our country must address to safeguard our currency -- but this would be the case, anyway.
The truth of things is important, even determinent; even if it's not what we would prefer.
